WEEKEND!

I'm not really sure what happened to us this week. I can't really say I was all that busy. Mostly just lazy, but I wanted to stop in and say hi before we get to the weekend!  I plan on killing the forest of weeds that are taking over my backyard and planting some tomatoes.  I have a brown thumb so I bought a tomato plant that already has a ton of flowers and even a few little green tomatoes growing.  I figure this way I'm bound to at least get 4 good tomatoes out of it beforeit dies from neglect. :)

I went paragliding last week with a friend for her birthday.  It was so much fun! I did get a little banged up though because our instructor was kind of rough/didn't communicate the best.  Before we went up in the hair he had us practice running on flat ground in the gravel parking lot.  He would pull you forward and run backwards and have you run too.  He always asked if we were ready before he would pull.  One of the times he didn't ask and he yanked me to the ground into the gravel.  I have some nice scabs and bruises because of it.  But I secretly think getting bruises is kind of fun.  It makes me feel tough.

Soccer Wall

Out at our house there's just lots of desert and dead grass and weeds, which makes for ugly outfit photo backgrounds. Jensen and I got a little creative this weekend and walked down to an elementary school to take photos.  Behold soccer ball wall.  The school also has a basketball wall so I'm sure you'll be seeing that in the future. :)

Garden

Jordan and I went on a date on Monday to a local nursery to buy some plants for our garden. We came here last year and the gardening bug bit hard. I think we left with 5 different kinds of tomato plants, and each pack you buy comes with 3-4 plants each.  We had more tomatoes than we knew what to do with so this year we toned it down a bit and stuck with just a couple of our favorites.

Dream

You know how when someone shares one of their dreams with you it's usually not very interesting, so you just wait for them to finish so you can share your dream with them?  Well I'm about to share my dream so feel free to stop reading... Last night I dreamt that I was taking a shower and a peeping Tom came into the bathroom and opened the shower curtain to take a peek at me.  I freaked out and yelled at him to go away, and then he assured me that it was ok that he was "looking" at me because he was blind and couldn't actually see me.  Any dream analysers out there? What does that mean?  And all of you who just pretended to be interested in my dream feel free to share yours, and I will pretend to read them. ;)

Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mama's out there! The weather here in Provo was perfect so we spent most of our day outside and had dinner at Jordan's grandma's house.  I am not yet at mother, but I do have a fur baby.  I told Jordan I wanted to take some pictures with my hamster to celebrate.  I was mostly joking, but I thought my pictures actually turned out cute. 

Oh yeah, and here is my hair cut! I still think I want to go a bit shorter.

Wimpy Arms

My husband's family is in town, so I get to have an extra long weekend and spend time with them!  Today we went skeet shooting and I learned that not only am I a terrible shot, but that I need to work out my sad arm muscles.  I only shot a handful of times and my arms are so sore! From the recoil of the gun and from holding it up.
Oh, and I also sat in some cow poop while we were shooting, but that's a story for another time.

Long Hair

I've chopped all my hair off! I was too scared to get a pixie, but I might go shorter by the end of the summer.  I wore this before I cut my hair so its the last time you'll see it long.  I'll be sure to post short hair pictures tomorrow! Happy Monday!

On the hunt for new jeans

I'm on the hunt for a new pair of dark skinny jeans.  These are losing life.  The knees and bum are faded, and the stretch in them is starting to turn squiggly.  Do any of you have go to brands or stores for your wear-with-everything-jeans? Please share. :)

I wore this to church on Sunday.  The color of this dress is one of my favorite colors, but I feel like I have a hard time wearing this dress without looking too Eastery. 

I have a hair appointment scheduled for tomorrow! I mentioned before that I was thinking about getting a pixie. I want to but I'm still scared.  I posted some hair cuts I'm thinking about getting.  What do you think?
