-Jensen and I have lived in our new house for about 3 months now.  In those three months I have already locked myself out of my house twice.  It's a good thing I have friendly neighbors.

- Sometimes when I am driving somewhere I think, "where are my keys!?" Then I look down and of course they are in the ignition.  This probably happens because I'm paranoid about locking myself out of my house again. 

-I hate filling up with gas, and I always wait until the last possible minute.  Because of this when my husband was picking me up from work one day he ran out of gas.  Surprise! Our car does not have a gas light. :)

Dots

I think I have a dot problem.  Over half of the clothes I've gotten since Christmas have dots on them.  Dot tights, two dot shirts, a pair of dot pants, and I painted dots on a pair of paints I already have.  What clothing item/color/pattern can you not get enough of lately?

PS I got this skirt last year at Anthropologie for $17. Which for Anthro is practically free.  My husband accused me of only wanting it because for their standards it was cheap. Which is partially true, if this skirt was at Target for the same price, I probably wouldn't have gotten it. Luckily though I do love it.  Are you ever guilty of that, buying items just because they're so cheap?

to pixie or not to pixie?

I've been growing my hair out for a while now.  Before I moved to Provo I always kept it about chin length.  Lately I've been thinking about getting a pixie. Eep!  I've been looking online a lot for hair cut ideas and I've seen A LOT of really terrible ones. And I'm afraid I'll miss my long hair. What do you think? Chop it all off or keep it long?

Green

I used to hate dressing for holidays. Red on Valentines day? No way. Green for St. Patrick's? Only on my socks.  But now, like a little kid (or old lady?) I love dressing up for holidays.  Although for St. Patty's day I did keep my green pretty quiet, but that was mostly because I lost my bright green shirt.

Tight-less

It's warm enough to not wear tights!  As much as I like tights my legs also like fresh air, so it's a nice change.  I thought I would ease into no tights by trying it with boots first.  That way the world isn't blinded by my pale legs.

This week is one of my most stressful/busy weeks of school I've ever had. Ever. I'm trying to keep positive and not stress about it too much, since stressing does nothing but make you feel even more crappy. To keep my mind off of stressing, I'm focusing on the things I have to be grateful for this week:

sunshine and warm weather

clean sheets and shaved legs

peanut butter filled pretzels

Easter candy

date night with Jordan amid all the crazy

When Suz painted her heart pants I dotted mine.  I kind of love them, but I'm not very patient and they took a pretty long time to make so I only did the front half :)
I hope you all have a good Monday, and aren't too tired from this daylight savings business.  I'm trying not to complain about it too much because now it will still be light out when I get home from work!  And that makes me very excited.

Heart Pants

Here are some heart pants to get you through your Thursday. I made them following Pretty Life Anonymous's tutorial. I got the fabric paint at Michael's and wanted hot pink. It didn't say on the bottle that it was glitter paint.  So I feel a bit like a little girl wearing them, but I still think they're cute.

Crazy Cat Lady

Styling dress pants is just not very exciting most of the time, so I rarely post photos of what I wear to work.  This look is a little crazy cat lady meets high school librarian.

I wore these tights the first time I met one of Jordan's friends.  It was kind of dark in his house when we went over. Once we got outside he was like, "Oh! I thought you had some sort of skin problem, but its just your tights." So, if you're wondering, I don't have a skin problem, just pale legs under some pinkish lace tights.

Also, I copied my outfit from this.  I think it was one of the first things I pinned. I like how the oxfords make it sort of school-girl looking.
