Polka Polka Dot Dot

shirt and undershirt: Down East Basics, jeans: Levi's, shoes: ebay, earrings: f21
Jensen got this shirt for me for Valentine's Day and I love it!  I've been wanting a shirt with a bow like this forever, but I haven't been able to find one I like enough to get.  Friday night Jensen and I were watching The Office together and Erin was wearing this same shirt for the Valentine's day episode (I had a tv twin!).  I originally wanted to wear this with a pair of black jeans I have, but I couldn't find them in the disaster I call my closet.  I think it's time to put laundry away.

Who's Who (Twin Tuesday)

Suz is out of town searching for otters, so this week's twin Tuesday is a flashback of our elementary school day outfit photos.  Can you tell who is who in these?  Don't feel bad if you can't.  Any picture where Suz and I are younger than 5, I have the hardest time telling us apart.  I even have trouble with some pictures of us when we are older.  My mom loved dressing us up and taking our pictures when we were little.  Who knew our early start at posing for outfit photos would come in handy one day.  (all three photos Viv on left Suz on right)

Dilophosaurus

jacket: Target (Suz's), skirt: f21, shirt: H&M, shoes: Alloy
I made the lace slip I'm wearing under my skirt really quick Saturday night to wear under skirts and dresses that are a little too short.  The skirt I'm wearing isn't too bad when I stand, but when I sit down at church it rides up way too much.   I really like the way the slip looks under this skirt.  It makes it feel like spring!

Does this jacket remind you of that dinosaur on Jurassic park that spits acid at the fat guy who is stuck on a muddy hill in his jeep and stupidly gets out of the jeep?  Especially like this:

Friday Finds- Floral

click on the numbers for links to pictures
It's already March, which means spring is almost here, which means time for bright colors and floral!!!
First on my list is floral shoes!  I absolutely love these floral oxfords.
2.
If you have some old boots or oxfords that need some sprucing up for spring, this tutorial from A Beautiful Mess is a great way to add color to your shoes.
3.
This back pack almost makes me wish I were still in school so I would have a reason to buy it.
4.
I might have to try this nail tutorial from The Beauty Department this weekend.  An easy way to add floral to your outfit.
5.
If you need some cheerful flowers in your home this print from Rifle Paper Co. would be a great addition, and they'll never die.

Hope you all have a great weekend!  I'm off work tomorrow and don't have any big plans.  I'm excited to  spend the day at home watching tv, sewing, and doing whatever else suits my fancy.  Do you have any exciting plans?

Forgetful

shirt and headband : f21, skirt and sweater: h and m, tights and shoes: urban outfitters

I write things on my hand all the time so I can remember them. Today I had quite a list, and I forgot about it. It is now ten-o-clock at night and I have five lines of un-readable pen leftovers. Can you think of any words ending in Bulp? No? Me either.

Friends

shirt and jeans: f21, sweater: Target, shoes: Miz Mooz
]I hang out with Suz a couple times a week and occasionally do things with old roommates, but most days I go to work, come home, make dinner, craft or sew, watch tv and blog, and go to bed.  I'm always telling Jensen stories about things I've read on blogs.  He doesn't really care that much to hear about things I read online, so the other day I started a story with, "This lady I know..."  He knew right away that I knew no such lady and asked if I was really talking about someone from a blog.  Busted... I need more friends.

Kiss Fairy

shirt: h & m, pants, belt (came with skirt), and shoes: forever 21

Jordan left this morning while I was at school for a week. Boo. Annnnd I leave next Thurday before he gets back for another week. Double boo.  When I got home from school today I found a little Hershey Kiss sitting on my phone charger, and I got really excited. And I went to take my vitamins (the gummy kind of course) I found another inside the bottle and got even more excited. So I went on a kiss hunt. So far I have found about thirty. I feel like I'm kind of ruining the suprise by searching for them but I just can't help it because they make me so happy!

Here's a little outfit from back when our days were warmer. This is one of my favorite shirts. I love the ruffles!
