I'm pretty sure every blogger in Utah is talking about the crazy weather this week! And I will too.  The weather is crazy! 70s and sunny one day and snow a few days later.  I'm ready for spring weather to come and to stay.

Moving on from the weather... Let's talk about fashion stuff.  I don't wear jewelry besides rings and earrings that often, but I bought this necklace last weekend and I love it!  It adds some bright color to my outfit.  I'm sure I'll be wearing it a lot.

I've felt not-so-healthy lately. And thats a bit of an understatement. Last night Jordan and I went to Texas Roadhouse for his birthday. Today for lunch I got invited to go eat with my professor and a guest speaker that was talking to the class, and whenever he brings guests they go to the Sky Room on campus. Its a little restaurant trying to be a fancy buffet. And I don't know what it is about buffets, but I just cannot contain myself. And it wasn't even that great. And tomorrow I'm going there again! I have a seminar class and once a semester we get to go eat with the guest speaker and tomorrow is my turn. And one last thing to add to my list: Jordan and I had chipotle for dinner because we were up in Salt Lake. So good. Mmmm. I did have some fruit and cottage cheese today though, I think that counts for something.  And here's a little sun-shiney outfit for you.

As much as I liked my outfit in person, I was feeling not-so-cute in my photos today so you only get one picture of me.  Also I think I'm turning into an old lady.  It's not quite 10:00 yet and I'm already in bed.  

Have you heard of the app called photo age?  You can upload photos of yourself and it will guess what age you are based on the photo.  It think's I'm an old lady too...

But it also thinks I'm not quite a teenager yet either...

Did anybody get the Tegan and Sara reference? Yes? No? That's okay. And I know it isn't Monday anymore, but I didn't get home last night until after 11, so there was no posting to be done by me. And my Monday actually wasn't bad. I guess sleeping in late and skipping out on work early with do that to a Monday :). Here's some more pics from conference weekend - when the weather was warm enough for SHORTS! I'm not sure if my white legs are up to the challenge yet.

I also have to say Happy birthday Jordan! You're the best husband and friend anybody could ask for. I love you so much!

Conference Weekend - Copy Cat

Hi everyone! How's your weekend? This is what I've been up to. Today the weather was too perfect though to stay inside all day, so Jordan and I took some hammocks up to campus, set them up, and listened to General Conference.  We may have fallen asleep a little. We were good and listened the whole time. Well, that's pretty much all I have for today. I'm going to get back outside and enjoy this weather! Tomorrow is supposed to be cold again. Feeling Funky

I feel like I've been in a funk lately, creatively speaking.  I've been coming home from work and wasting time watching tv and browsing the internet.  I haven't been making things like I usually love to do. I've also have been in a funk with my clothes and don't like anything.  What do you do to get out of your "funks" like this?

Oh, hello again everyone. You haven't seen me around because I've been gone so much for school.  Last week I went to Zion for a wildlife conference. It was the Utah Chapter of The Wildlife Society annual meeting. You go and you get to hear people talk about all the research they've been doing. Its pretty cool.  While we were down in Zion the weather was absolutely beautiful. I may not have gone to as many of the talks as was supposed to...

These pictures were obviously not taken in Utah. I'm being mean and giving you a little teazer of what summer is like. Last summer Viv and I went to Cape Cod to visit our Mama and took a little walk on the beach one day while we were there.  This skirt is one of my favorite warm weather items. Its a little strange with the big pockets on the side, but super comfy and easy to wear. We planned on both wearing our big pocket skirts for twin Tuesday, but it looks like Viv and I twinned our skirts and our yellow sweaters.
