Here's another super simple outfit for ya. A guess a v-neck t and a skirt is hard to beat in the heat of summer.  Is anyone else as ready for fall as me?  I miss my cardigans. (and scarves, and boots, and tights), but it's just around the corner! The trees at the tops of the mountains here are already changing colors a little and I couldn't be more excited!

If you're wondering who joined me for these photos, it's my dog Kodi.  Suz and I got him for our 12th birthday.  He still looks like my puppy to me, but he's getting up there in doggy years.  84 I think?

Back in Business

I'm back from my vacation. It was great! But it's good to be home again too.  I also think my kitty would have died of loneliness if we were gone any longer.  We had some friends of ours checking on her every night, but she was still alone during the day.  After we got home last night she followed me around everywhere and would not stop meowing.  She even woke us up about five times during the night meowing, probably paranoid that we were going to abandon her again.

I got this skirt from jcrew a few weeks ago. I've been eying their colorful pencil skirts for a while now, and they finally went on sale cheap enough for me to afford!

And since I'm linking up to Wonderlust Wednesdays something new I tried last week was wake boarding while visiting my dad in Idaho.  It was so fun and tiring.  I even got like an inch of air when I was trying to jump the wake. :)

Our first night in Couer D'Alene, Viv and I, along with our husbands, walked along the boardwalk at the lake. It is the world's longest floating boardwalk! CDA is definitely one of my favorite places to visit.  Beautiful lakes, boating, mountains, perfect weather, oh yeah, and family too :)

A Little Vacation

Sorry for our absence lately.  Suz and I have been in Coeur d'Alene Idaho visiting my dad for the last few days.  We've spent most of our time here out at the lake and sitting around the house and eating lots of food, all of which don't require getting dressed.  Here's a look at what we did wear while we were here. :)

12 Years Old

Last week I got braces! I worked at a BBQ restaurant with Viv a while back and people used to ask us what high school we went to. And we would say, actually we're seniors at BYU. Now people are really going to think I'm a little girl.

Home Again

I'm home from girl's camp now and it's so nice to sleep in my own bed and see my husband again.  And to watch Olympics again!  I was going into withdrawals from missing a whole five days of them last week.  It's ok to watch 6 hours of tv a day as long as it's the Olympics right?
