Troopa Boots

I've been wanting these Steve Madden Troopa boots for probably four years.  I showed them to my mom for Christmas when I first saw them and she found some cheaper not-quite-as-cute boots that were kind of similar.  Even though I had my other boots I've still always wanted these but felt like they were too pricey.  Well, in June I was in L.A. for a friends wedding and went thrifting.  I found these beauties in Beverly Hills in my size for just $10.  They looked pretty new and even still had the size sticker on the bottom.  Now that the weather is a bit colder I've been wearing them every day.  Lesson learned: good things come to those who wait and are too cheap to buy $100 boots :)

There is not much I love more in this world than going up the canyon into the trees, especially this time of year, except maybe kittens and Christmas.  I think fall is finally here to stay and I could not be happier.   Also husband and I found out the gender of our little bean and no longer have to refer to baby as it.  There's a little BOY in there! :)

It's been ages since we've done a twin Tuesday post so I though I would share a few reasons why having a twin is so great. 

- you have double the wardrobe when you live close enough to share

- if you go shopping and have too many items for the fitting room you can give some to your twin to try on for you

- growing up is a sleepover every night

- you have a friend always and forever

Viv's Clothes

Now that Viv is finally starting to get a belly I have started inheriting her clothes! She is still super tiny because she lost some weight in the beginning but her belly is just starting to poke out.  It's nice getting a new wardrobe all at once ;)

Besides our laziness and summer trips, there's another reason I've been MIA from blog land.  That little bump!  I'm so excited to let you all know a new addition will be joining my family this February.  If you want to read any more about it you can on my personal blog here. :)

Well Hello!

We're back! We took a little summer blogging break, and it ended up being longer than expected. There was lots of vacationing involved and not too many outfits, unless you count cut off shorts and v-neck t's.  Now that fall is on it's way and we're actually getting dressed in the mornings we will hopefully be back to regular posts :)
