Hello! Did you all have a merry Christmas? I sure did, but it went by way too fast.  My husband and I are back to work today already, but headed to Canada tonight for almost a full week! I could not be more excited.  I just hope I survive the drive.  After about two hours of sitting in the same position my back usually starts hurting pretty bad.  I hope Jensen is ok with me laying down in the back seat most of our trip :)

Merrry Christmas Eve Eve everyone! Have you gotten started on your vacationing or celebrating yet? Unfortunately I'm at work today and tomorrow, and today it's got me in a pretty grouchy mood.  Even though I only get one day off for Christmas, at the end of the week I'm headed up to Canada for my brother in law's wedding and I get to stay almost a full week!  I could not be more excited.  Hope you all get the time off you deserve to celebrate with your friends and families.

Wheat Fields Forever

Suz and I spent most of Thanksgiving week in Idaho with my uncle and cousins.  My mom even came out from California for the week!  It was a ton of fun! There was pretty much non stop eating, lots of skeet shooting, a little playing with puppies, and of course black Friday shopping.  I can't believe we are already a week past Thanksgiving, and only 20 days until Christmas!

Happy Snow Day everyone! I feel like on my facebook and instragram feed people either hate or love the snow. I love it! I am stuck at work now but plan on making snow cream tonight and white chili for dinner. Yum. Have you ever had snow cream? And are you a lover or a hater of snow?

I'm so excited that Thanksgiving is next week and then it is Christmas! I love the holiday season. I'm a believer in Christmas music year round, I just increase my listening after Halloween. I couldn't resist buying this sweater when I saw it at H&M last week. I think it is perfect for the holidays. I want to find a way to add puff balls to his antlers for Christmas to make it even more Christmasey.

In a rut

I'm finding it harder and harder to get dressed cute as time goes on in this pregnancy, and seem to be in a rut (especially with church clothes!).  I guess I'm not a very creative dresser and as less clothes are fitting I wear more t-shirts and hoodies.  Today I'm wearing the jeans pictured above and a 6 year old BYU hoodie. :) I think I'm going to give myself a little 30 for 30 challenge (like Kendi has done several times in the past) to make me rethink the clothes I have that I can currently wear, because buying anything just to wear for the next few months seems silly.

These photos were taken almost three weeks ago now so my belly is even bigger now, but I feel like right around when they were taken baby decided to make himself known to the world.  I don't just look like I ate a big meal anymore!  I'm almost into the third trimester now! Hurah!

FRIIIIIIIDAY

Happy Friday!  I had to work at 6 this morning, and with a long commute to work that meant I had to get up before 5am.  No one should ever have to get up that early.  Ever.  I've already been awake for almost three hours and it's not even 8 yet.  Thank goodness it's the weekend.  I think a weekend full of naps is in order.  Do you have any exciting weekend plans?

Sleeping In

Happy Monday friends! Did you all enjoy your extra hour of sleep Saturday night?  I did! I think a little too much and it ended up back firing last night.  I slept about 10 hours on Saturday night, and took an hour and a half nap yesterday.  That meant I was wiiiide awake last night when it was time to sleep.  So instead of getting to bed early since it felt so late, and waking up extra refreshed, I am really tired this morning.

Best Dress Purchase Ever

This dress has to be one of my best clothing purchases ever.  I got it when I was in high school or just after graduating, and I think I've had it 7 years now, and even better... it fits the bump!  

And can I just say how much I love these booties? Because I do, I love them.

Pearls

These photos were hiding in my iPhoto, so even though this outfit is from the summer I though I would share.  This shirt is one of my favorites, but because of the pearl collar I have to hand wash it.  Which means I wear it once or twice and it sits in my dirty hamper for months.  It's currently sitting on top of my washer waiting to be cleaned.  Maybe one of these days I'll get around to washing it before my bump gets too big to fit.

Fall Ball

On Friday night I remembered that our church was having a Fall Ball. It actually sounded pretty lame but I wanted free dessert.  I forced Jordan to dress up fancy and we went to get some food.  Once we got there it was as lame as we thought it would be :), but they had water color painting stations set up and I actually had a lot of fun. I feel like I'm in my element with all the other bad dancers and bad pop music.

I made my skirt following this tutorial. I love it but I feel like I need a reason to dress fancy to wear it. My goal for this fall/winter: find as many reasons to wear this skirt as possible.

Thanksgiving Round One

My husband is from Canada which means in our house we get two Thanksgivings!  Canadian Thanksgiving is this Monday so we're having some friends over Sunday to celebrate.  That also means I can put up my Christmas decorations as early as I want, because the rule is to wait until after Thanksgiving right? ;)
